Bespoke Opening Repertoire
Imagine the ultimate chess weapon, a repertoire designed from the ground up to maximize your strengths and exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. That’s what I’ll create for you, drawing on all my cunning and experience as a FIDE Master and experienced openings researcher. It’s almost unfair.
This service has three touch points:
Initial consultation (1 hour video call)
We go over your chess background, goals, and preferences.File delivery (3 hour video call)
I walk you through the completed file, explaining all the key lines and ideas. I’ll also show you all the tools and processes you need to ensure you remember and understand the lines. If we get through all the material, we’ll use any additional time to play practice games to start gaining experience with the repertoire.Maintenance and updates (1 hour video call)
Review your games with your new repertoire and fix any problem spots. Go over key middlegame moments from your games.
Look, I don’t know if anyone will want this, but I figured I’d offer it in case someone does. I only have the bandwidth to work on one of these at a time, so if that’s you, you might want to act quickly.

Why can’t I just review my games with Stockfish?
You can, and while Stockfish will show you the best move, it won’t explain it. My focus is on providing intelligible, actionable insights relevant to your level.
Why would I need a bespoke opening repertoire?
You’ve probably noticed there are a lot of opening courses out there. I think mine are pretty good! But this is a completely personalized repertoire, designed from the ground up to maximize your chances.
What makes you an expert?
I’m an experienced openings researcher with a knack for creating unreasonably effective practical repertoires. My Chessable courses have an average rating of 4.9/5. Here’s what one reviewer said:
