Thank you, Nate! Just like the player, I recognised the need to stop e4 and came up with 15...Bb4 that doesn't work. It didn't occur to me to block with the rook. Physically blocking a piece isn't something that comes naturally to me. Food for thought.

I’m submitting an OTB game I played recently. We were the last ones at the club, playing for over 4 hours! I came out better out of the opening, but struggled to find the right middle game plan. The tables turned and I lost two pawns over time and eventually the game. It seems like I could have held the draw.

Likely not worthy of game of the week. It comes from the blitz challenge, and I do win it. But I miss bxc3 four times in a row as the best move, thinking that it's like one of those "don't relieve the tension" moments. With analysis it becomes a bit more obvious why. But for OBIT, it's sort of a series of interesting moments where I intentionally chose not to make the move.

Then I choose the wrong deflection to queen a pawn. I realized it after the fact and fortunately the opponent didn't realize it at all.
