Thanks for reviewing my game Nate - You were spot on on me thinking that the position should have a crushing tactic so whenever there was some kind of piece tension I was trying to calculate every sequence. I need to get better at time management. Being aware of the clock is not something I’m used to. And also thanks for the tip on what a good plan would be at the end of the game. That helps too :)
You're not wrong to look for the winning tactic. But when your analysis indicates it's not there, you have to cycle onto a solid improving move a little bit more quickly.
Be7 came back to haunt me. I had restricted mobility and found myself unwilling to lose material to break the logjam. I would be interested in hearing how you evaluate the problem and propose a solution.
