1/40 of time per move / staying on schedule - very interesting insight. At normal classical OTB I play that’s 2.25 mins per move - do you have an cap on how far above this you will go eg critical position
Try not to go above. You should balance out the moves where you spend more with moves where you spend less and hopefully even have a buffer.
I think the game Nate was talking about was Kasparov-Karpov
Indeed, my own chess culture was lacking. It's Karpov-Kasparov, not Fischer-Karpov as I said.
